Welcome / End of 2007

Hello and welcome to Sound Devastation's blog.

For too long now we haven't been updating the website/myspace or doing the mailing list as often as we should. So here's this, which hopefully will prove to be a little more serviceable and easy to update.

We've had a bit of an up and down 2007 if we're honest. Some great moments and some we'd rather forget. But that's the way of the world, and we've come through the year that was 2007 pretty much unscathed and with a bunch of awesome releases out to boot.

Due to the year ending on a bit of a low note (Ed: many of you will know, but Helen is currently very ill, and I'm on my own for now), some of the most recent releases may have slipped you by due to the aforementioned lack of updates. So here's a pretty picture to remind you of what's out and we encourage you (well, of course we would) to get any of the releases that you currently have missing from your record collection:

As the picture says we have a ridiculous amount of stuff coming out in 2008, and we'll be updating this page informing you of each one.

Releases on CD and Vinyl; releases from ex-Kayo Dot members (Ehnahre); releases featuring collaborations with doom experimentalists Nadja (Black Boned Angel); releases with production work by Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna (Seven Nautical Miles) and Nick Zampiello (Analysis Of Bison Kills), as well as a host of other treats and surprises up our collective sleeve!
